Mystery Party at Tulip Tree

Directed by Mr Clean. Starring Kati, Tuula, friends and one black sheep.

Saturday, Dec. 13. Kati and Tuula had organized a Pre-Christmas Party at their place, #610 at Tulip Tree. The party turned great, our hosts had thought about everything: groggi, liquorice liquor, beer, pop corn, music, etc. but a couple of things: beer fight -what???-, hyper-sensitive neighbors and, worst of all, bathroom vandalism... Someone indeed had "unwound" in their bathroom. The police came later in the night to check this out and search for clues. Informal sources revealed shortly afterwards that investigations were in progress and that a few suspects had been questioned already. As a 100c-reward had been announced and laboratory tests had been proceeded too, it seemed that the culprit was likely to be apprehended by the end of the week. But sometimes, things just don't go the way you expect them to...

A most thrilling suspenseful movie that simultaneously highlights the anguishies of today's society. The metaphoric use of bathroom vandalism perfectly renders the mal de vivre of our century as the hero is torn between his values and social pressure. Mr Clean has successfully reached a Golden Mean with this entertaining-but-psychological-at-the-same-time-all- audience masterpiece of humanity that reminds us that life is a tragedy for those who feel. Also, Kati's character is particularly convincing in her desperate quest for truth. The viewer sympathizes with her straight from the beginning.

Contact information

Those of you who've "subscribed" will get a print copy of the contact information sheet. Those who haven't -and even those who have actually- might well find, in the foreseeable future, each other's e-mail addresses in the Who's Who section by clicking on the pictures for instance. This implies that the Who'w Who section is going to be updated soon -some people were still missing so far, but I've finally managed to take that picture of them through their keyholes...

More generally speaking, there might well be some new hot stuff in the future. Next release is planned on January 5, 1998.

Until then, have a great Christmas holiday and don't forget to sign my guestbook (now that I have one)!
